I have been voraciously digesting the thoughtful words of Brene Brown these past 3 months.  I’ve now read three of her books:  I Thought it was Just Me; Daring Greatly; and The Gifts of Imperfection.  Click on the link above for more information- it will take you right to her website.

Her research (on shame and vulnerability) is solid and her words are honest.

Daring Greatly  has some great points about how to teach children without using shame to discourage bad behavior.  She also has some great ideas about how to communicate with people (especially those you love) without shaming or blaming.
